Come From Away is the award-winning musical by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, inspired by the remarkable true story of the small town of Gander, Newfoundland. After the events of September 11, 2001, 38 planes carrying nearly 7,000 stranded passengers were diverted to Gander, where the community welcomed them with extraordinary generosity, compassion, and kindness. Winner of Best New Musical at the 2019 Olivier Awards and Outstanding Musical at the 2017 Drama Desk Awards, Come From Away has touched audiences around the world with its uplifting message of unity, resilience, and the power of human connection.
